Building 223
was constructed in 1920. The building is a one-story building with partial basement and is constructed of block bearing walls with reinforced concrete frame, concrete floors and wood framed roof, approximately 5,760 square feet on the main floor with a 1,440 square foot basement. The building was built as a blacksmith’s shop for the farm operations. When these functions were no longer needed, the building was used to store farm implements and vehicle maintenance activities. The building is currently used for miscellaneous storage and maintenance of grounds keeping equipment. The building is in fairly good condition and has been updated over the years. There are no utility services available to the building at this time.
