Building 204,
often called the Cathedral barn, constructed in 1932. The barn is a two-story, wood framed building with stone and block foundation, approximately 5,750 square feet per floor. The main floor was used for the storage of hay and the lower level was used for young cattle stock, calving and milking. The building structure is in good condition. A new roof, with insulation, was installed by the City of Traverse City – Charter Township of Garfield Recreation Authority as part of the Barns Stabilization Project. Building 204 is scheduled to remain in the District Plan. There are no utility services available to the building at this time.
